Dear You,

You’re the worst thing that ever happened to me. Yeah, fuck my shady past, and my burtal childhood too. Because I’ve made my peace with that clusterfuck of heartache; mostly. Nothing haunts me, quite like this affection that I hold for you. Yeah, you know it… but you don’t actually know. Yeah. You get it… but you don’t really get it. 

See. You have no idea how brilliant you are. If you did, you’d be an intolerable monster. If you believed me — completely — my admiration would course through your bloodstream, like some potent drug. You’d be smashing buildings, crushing egos, and consuming souls. What could stop you? You would finally understand, what you’re truly capable of. 

You’re a force of nature, and I’m the girl flying a key and my heart, attached to a kite, in the middle of a storm. But I’m not some stupid victim, just waiting to be burned. This is not an ill conceived experiment. This is me, waiting to be the link between the electricity of your will, and the turbines of your desire. A living conduit for the best, and worst, you have to offer.  

I’m not built like other girls. I have future technology for innards, and alien insulation for skin. I have my own self-contained reserves of power; enough energy to consume this star system… But a jolt from you, gets my juices flowing. You pump me with your voltage, and I could obliterate the Universe. Hell. I could even swallow reality. 

I don’t need you… but I want you. I can’t contain you, but I can feed you. I won’t own you, but I could use you… on my side; in my corner; through my essence; and between my thighs. 

Do you understand? We’re a cosmic catastrophe. My machine, and your energy. Kinetic terrorism and spontaneous poetry; chaos and wonders; ontological blunders.

You. Me. Her. And all of the other beautiful creatures, and disasters, between; our team. 

I’m yours. For as long as we can fuel the spark, and make the sky glow with the fires of our feelings; this feeling… that for all we’re not, or will never be… we’re really something. 

You’re something very special. To me. You always will be.
