Self Image
Self image is a strange thing. I’d say, above and beyond any trait that the external world uses to qualify me, whether it’s sex, gender, race, nationality, or any other trait that allows others to sort me into a group… even though I’m penalized, or rewarded by society based on this criteria… I will always perceive my essence as simply being a singular consciousness, that can’t be limited or defined by any temporal affiliation. See, it’s true. I am a woman, bisexual, Asian, American, human… but at my core, I most strongly self identify as an individual.

good thoughts. sending you an ‘ask’ because tumblr cuts off my comment here… ah, lovely, limiting technology that supposedly assists us socially, and yet limits our characters.
